Her love for dance has returned. If you want your child to feel special, if you are looking for personalization, if you are looking for your child to LEARN dance, not a dance routine but learn to dance then Dance Ascension is where your child belongs! Learning independence and adjusting to a new environment can be a transition for young dancers. The quicker they settle into a routine, the more they will adjust, be happy, and thrive. This is why we ask that you refrain from entering the classroom unless invited by the teacher. We want your dancer’s full attention on our instructors and their classmates, enhancing their learning and self-confidence. We schedule Parent Observation weeks once a quarter, where you can see what your dancer has been learning.
Students may be dropped off at the studio no earlier than 10 minutes before class and should be picked up promptly when class ends. It’s fine to drop students off and watch them walk inside once they are comfortable and old enough. If you choose to wait, please do so in our parent waiting room or your car.
Parents must come inside for pick-up. If a different parent or family member will be picking up the student, please inform the office staff at drop-off. Alert the person picking up the child that they will need to show their ID. If you’ve arranged a carpool, notify the office staff which parent will be responsible for drop-off and pick-up. These precautions ensure the safety of all students.

IN-CLASS EXPECTATIONS
Class size often becomes a concern at the start of a season. We need to ensure we have enough students to cover class expenses while maintaining our high standards for quality instruction and safety. If a class exceeds or falls below the ideal number of students (fewer than five), schedule adjustments may be necessary. This could mean splitting or combining classes depending on the specific situation. Please note that Pointe and Company classes require either an invitation or an audition to participate.
