We provide a safe learning environment where children are respected, valued, and loved for who they are. We encourage a love of learning and use developmentally appropriate strategies for all aspects of instruction.

CORE VALUES

Our program prepares children for success in kindergarten through a curriculum designed to address their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs through active learning. We make learning fun through a variety of learning strategies.

MISSION

Our goal is to nurture and inspire young children to find joy in learning. We create an environment where children are encouraged to explore and grow. By fostering a love for learning early on, we aim to build a strong foundation for future academic and personal success.

VISION

"I could not be happier with Dance Ascension’s Preschool program! Ms. Brittany is an amazing teacher and there are not enough good things to say about her and the curriculum she teaches. My daughter LOVED going to class each day and was BEYOND ready for kindergarten!! She even learned Spanish and taught my other daughters (who are older) all the colors in Spanish! I am so thankful for Ms. Brittany and Dance Ascension. Because of this PreK program and its wonderful teacher, Ms. Brittany, transition into kindergarten for my daughter was super easy."

We adopt current research-based strategies that align with our core values and promote each child’s emotional, physical, and intellectual development through creative play and social interaction.

Our curriculum is paced to allow completion of all objectives by the end of the school year, but respects the individuality of each student in delivery. We maintain a regular daily/weekly routine much like what children will encounter when they enter kindergarten. Our classrooms are child-centered and our teachers work with children to facilitate their learning by helping them to discover new information and skills. Students utilize all senses in their learning process. We believe in hands-on learning as a key strategy, allowing students to experience, discover, and make sense of the new knowledge they are learning. Our approach is designed to help children increase their confidence and to nurture their natural curiosity. Students are given opportunities for both individual and group learning.

Our approach focuses on the development of the whole child.

What Sets Us Apart

Register for Preschool

Rise and Shine Kiddie Time meets Monday-Thursday from 9-1pm each week unless there is a posted studio closure found on the school calendar.

Parents pack a healthy snack and beverage for their students to bring with them. Good options include water, juice boxes, apples, bananas, crackers, cheese, goldfish, raisins, etc. Please do not send sodas or candy.

Students should have a bookbag packed with a change of clothes in case an accident occurs.

Weekly, parents will receive a student folder to allow them to review their child’s progress in the curriculum for the week. We encourage parents to have conversations with their child about what they learned, compliment their child on the work they see in the folder, ask the child to tell you a story about their artwork.
